A strategic six-year partnership with the University of Sydney, School of Pharmacy is in place for the ongoing update of research data available on the IMgateway website.


This partnership includes the joint development of an Australian herb, supplement and food database and the associated interactions with drugs, the first of its kind. UnityHealth, the owner of IMgateway, and the University of Sydney are committed to expanding the coverage of complementary medicines and drugs researched on this database and to also ensure that practitioners and consumers access the latest and most up to date information available.

MIMS Australia

UnityHealth in partnership with MIMS Australia have developed a unique Australian, evidence based interactions database directly to the healthcare professional's desk top.


This database has been developed by researchers from the School of Pharmacy at The University of Sydney and is delivered via IMgateway and eMIMS.

NICM

UnityHealth has partnered with NICM Health Research Institute at Western Sydney University, a leading centre for integrative and complementary medicine research, to develop and maintain an evidence-based Chinese herb-drug interactions database within the IMgateway platform. Since 2017, this collaboration has combined NICM HRI's world-class research capability with UnityHealth's digital education expertise to systematically review, grade and summarise the global evidence on Chinese herbal medicine and pharmaceutical drug interactions. Together we are expanding a rigorously reviewed database of Chinese herb-drug interaction monographs and decision-support tools, helping healthcare practitioners integrate Chinese medicine and conventional care more safely and effectively in everyday practice.
